SEOUL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

The skin transforms from a pure form into forms that show movement, dynamism, and artistry. Along with this varies an interior form housing 3 performance halls, a major interconnected lobby, administrative offices, supplemental performance spaces, rehearsal studios, restaurants, a VIP lounge, viewing decks, and a rooftop garden. The form is a result of fluvial lines which are products of the Han River. These lines also shape the dynamic landscape. SPAC acts as an urban platform, where the city is fully involved in the overall experience, be it through viewing decks where the city’s beauty is the performer, or from the performance that SPAC gives back to the city acting as a beacon of light and a cultural center of the city
